Imaging techniques are used across many applications and research fields. The public at large is familiar with biomedical imaging where main techniques are CT, PET, MRI and Optical Microscopy. Other applications are found in engineering, cultural heritage research, security etc. where neutron and X-ray radiography and tomography play an increasing role.
