Briefly, the conference brings together researchers from high-temperature (fusion), low-temperature (plasma technologies), and fundamental investigations of ionized gasses who have the common interest in laser and electromagnetic measurements of plasma properties. The goal is to foster a fruitful exchange of ideas and techniques concerning laser diagnostics of plasmas between these sub-fields of plasma physics.
