The 23rd International Workshop on ECR Ion Sources is aimed to highlight the state of the art in ECR Ion Sources Science & Technology, and to reinforce the common ground and synergies among the different actors in the field.
The ECRIS workshop series have a long history (recently: 2012 Sydney, Australia; 2014 Nizhny Novgorod, Russia; 2016 Busan, South Korea), promoting stimulating discussions and new collaborations.
We would like to continue the tradition and hope that you will join the conference according to this inspiration.
The venue, placed at the foot of the Etna Volcano - the highest and most active of Europe - in a city that is now experiencing its third millenium of history since its establishment in 730 BC, will hopefully encourage fertile cultural discussions.
The workshop is organized by the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare - Laboratori Nazionali del Sud and will take place in the halls of the Catania Diocesan Museum, located in the heart of the old city with several archaeological and cultural attractions situated in the nearby.
